About the company

Creturner is a Swedish climate company that permanently removes CO₂ from the atmosphere and sells each removal as a credit. A credit is only worth what a buyer can check about it.

The challenge

A carbon buyer usually cannot check what they bought. Where the credit came from sits in one report, who has owned it since in another, and whether it has already been retired somewhere else again. Several parties hold pieces of the story, and somebody assembles them by hand every time anyone asks.

What Neuro does here

Each credit gets a record of its own, linked to the submitted process evidence, and every transfer is recorded through to retirement. A buyer can inspect that history; Creturner remains responsible for proving the removal behind it.

The result

A buyer can inspect the project evidence, process data, holder history and retirement status attached to a credit. That history stays in one record, and a retired credit cannot be transferred again inside the service.

The same pattern can help with recycled content or sourcing claims: the issuer supplies evidence, identified parties add later events, and the buyer checks the recorded history rather than assembling reports from several organisations.
