Questions

The questions people ask first.

Start with the one closest to your work.

What it is

The platform, and what sits underneath it.

What is Neuro?

Every deal waits on three answers: who you are dealing with, what is really theirs, and whether the money moved. Neuro answers all three in one place, and writes one record.

Who is Neuro for?

Anyone who has to be sure who they are dealing with, what is theirs and that the money moved. The site has a view for engineers, finance, real assets, climate and NGOs, charities and clubs, and one for everyone.

Who builds Neuro?

Trust Anchor Group AB, in Stockholm. We wrote the three layers underneath ourselves: Neuro-Ledger®, the Neuron™ network protocol and e-Daler® offline payments. Nothing beneath your service belongs to a supplier who could change its mind.

Is Neuro a blockchain?

No. Neuro-Ledger® is a purpose-built distributed ledger, deliberately not a blockchain. Records are access-controlled and correctable, so GDPR is structural rather than a later compromise.

What is a Neuron?

A Neuron™ is one organisation’s node on the Neuro network. Each runs its own and still exchanges verified identity, agreements and payments with every other.

What is e-Daler?

e-Daler® is patented peer-to-peer electronic cash. Value passes between two devices with no network, and settles to the Neuro-Ledger® when the signal returns. A stall with no bars takes payment.

What it does

What you can build with it.

What can you build on Neuro?

Encrypted messaging between checked people. Agreements tied to checked signers. Tickets with a checkable history. A payment that waits on a delivery. Explore lists 302, each marked available now or an idea. Search all 302

What is a conditional payment?

Money held until an agreed condition is true, then released with nobody approving it. The pallet is scanned at the depot and the carrier is paid. How that works

Can a payment be made with no internet connection?

Yes. e-Daler® transfers value between two devices offline, with no intermediary and no signal, then settles when connectivity returns. Almost nothing else in payments does this, which is why it is patented. How that works

What does “verify once, reuse everywhere” mean?

A contractor cleared by one site walks into the next without repeating the check. The verification is issued once, as a credential the holder carries. How that works

What does tokenising an asset actually mean?

Turning something you own into a record that carries its owner, its rules and its history. Anything you can only sell whole today, divided between checked holders. How that works

Can a machine or an AI agent hold an identity and pay for things?

Yes. A meter, a pump or a scheduling agent each holds its own credential, so a compromise means revoking one unit, not re-keying a fleet. An agent pays per call inside a limit a person set. How that works

Compliance and data

What holds up in front of a regulator.

Is Neuro GDPR compliant?

Neuro-Ledger® supports access controls and the correction or removal of records where required. Compliance still depends on the data you collect and your own legal review.

Are signatures made on Neuro legally binding?

Neuro binds a checked signer to the exact version signed and keeps evidence of it. The legal effect depends on the method; confirm the process with counsel. How that works

Does Neuro store copies of identity documents?

A service using Neuro need not keep a copy of every document. In W Social a separate identity app runs the check and shares only approved attributes. Read the case

Where does Neuro run?

In the cloud, or on your own hardware, as one module or a Neuron™ node inside your institution. Anyone who needs to own the infrastructure can licence the whole platform.

Building with it

For whoever has to build it.

Does Neuro have an MCP server?

Yes. Neuron MCP servers expose identity, contracts, payments, messaging and files as tools an AI application can discover and call, under the permissions you grant. A separate documentation MCP server helps coding agents read the docs. Documentation · MCP

Can an AI coding agent build on Neuro?

Yes. Install the Neuro skill with npx skills add https://docs.neuro-tech.io, or point the agent at llms.txt, and it builds against the Agent API from current documentation. Your team still tests and approves. Documentation · Docs for coding agents

What stops an agent generating its way around the rules?

The rules are not code the agent wrote. An identity, the person who authorised it, the limit that holds and the record you can revoke are properties of the platform.

Is there an API, and documentation?

Yes. The Agent API is reachable over HTTPS and documented operation by operation, alongside concept guides. The sandbox approves test identities automatically. Agent API reference

How long does a first build take?

At FIRSTBLOCK-ATHON 2026, teams new to Neuro built working examples across two days. Each production use still needs its own rules, testing and approval.

Starting

What it costs, and who is already on it.

Is Neuro open source?

The core is open source and free for non-commercial use, which covers most charities and NGOs. Commercial use needs a licence. The code on GitHub

How much does Neuro cost?

Review the documentation and scope a first workflow before licensing anything. Cost depends on the modules, the volume, and whether you run a node or use a managed service.

How does a first deployment work?

One module against one real constraint, not a replacement programme. First an assessment — sometimes the useful answer is that you do not need Neuro. Then one scoped problem, one measurable result. How we work

Who already uses Neuro?

Ten businesses. A driver in Senegal gets fuel on credit before the first fare of the day. A Swedish club takes its fees without the money passing through a parent’s account. All ten cases

Is anybody running an agentic deployment yet?

Not yet, said plainly. The MCP servers, agent identity, wallets and payments all ship today, and every case study here is human. Talk to us if you want to be first.

Which industries is Neuro used in?

In production today: lending, real-asset investment, carbon removal, travel, sport and associations, farming, parking and social media. The problem is the same in each: the same party checked again, the same claim nobody can verify, the same payment waiting. See the ten cases
