Move value without a network
A market stall takes payment where there is no signal. Value passes between the two devices with no connection, and settlement is recorded once one returns. Those are two separate steps in the service.
The problem
The queue stops when the signal drops.
Card networks, bank transfers, and digital-asset rails all need connectivity at the moment of payment. Where the network is intermittent, expensive, or absent, digital payment simply stops being an option and cash fills the gap. Wherever your coverage fails, this does not.
That is not a rare edge case. It is rural coverage, transit tunnels, disaster response, aviation, maritime, and a great deal of the world where the last mile never arrived. If any of that is your market, this is the difference.
How it works
Four steps, and the last one can wait.
Value is held locally
A trader carries value on the handset the way they carry cash.
Transfer happens peer to peer
Stall and customer exchange value face to face. No round-trip your terminal has to wait for.
Integrity travels with it
The money itself is checked so the same transfer cannot be replayed. The service still needs a clear policy for the period before the devices reconnect and settlement is recorded.
It settles on reconnection
When a connection returns, the settlement is recorded. The customer can then match the offline transfer against the final account record.
