Prove every machine before it acts.
Neuro gives each device or software agent its own verifiable credential and authority. It can authenticate, act, and be revoked individually without exposing the rest of the fleet.
The problem
A shared secret is not an identity.
Most connected devices ship with a shared credential or a static key, which means the fleet is only as secure as its least protected unit. There is often no reliable way to prove which specific device sent a given message.
It gets worse at scale. Rotating credentials across a deployed fleet is painful enough that it rarely happens, and a single compromised credential store can expose every device that depends on it.
How it works
Issue one identity. Bind one authority. Revoke one machine.
Issue at source
The device or agent is given its own verifiable identity when it is manufactured or first deployed, not configured in afterwards.
Authenticate
It proves what it is directly, with no shared secret to distribute and no central store to breach.
Bind policy to identity
What a machine may do — which data it can read, how much it may spend — attaches to that identity rather than to a network location.
Revoke individually
A compromised unit is revoked on its own. The rest of the fleet is unaffected and keeps running.
What it uses
What proves the machine.
The same identity model covers people, organisations, devices, and software agents, with ledger records built for long-lived machine-scale activity.
Digital Identity
One identity model covering people, organisations, and machines.
Neuro-Ledger®
Built for machine-scale transaction volume and machine identity from the start.
Neuron™ protocol
Lets devices across separate organisations resolve and trust one another.
Related
Once a machine can prove itself, it can transact.
Machine identity gives the device or agent the standing it needs to pay, sign, request access, or report data under its own authority.
